PepsiCo Price Targets Cut, September 28 2026

PepsiCo makes, markets and sells beverages and convenient foods. It was founded in 1898. It runs across six segments. Those run from PepsiCo Foods North America and PepsiCo Beverages North America to Latin America Foods and Asia Pacific Foods. Its portfolio spans chips, dips, cereals, oatmeal and ready-to-drink teas, alongside beverage concentrates and fountain syrups. The company employs roughly 306,000 people. Its market cap sits near $175.6 billion. It pays a $5.92 annual dividend, a 4.6% yield. Revenue over the past year reached $96.90 billion, a 5.6% increase.

PepsiCo is raising prices on some chips, dips and sodas this week, according to Bloomberg. An earlier round of price cuts failed to revive sales. The company also shifted its $1.7 billion global media account to Publicis this week. PepsiCo will also stop covering some weight-loss drugs for workers, Bloomberg reported separately. PepsiCo also said it will put $1 billion into Colombia. Its board also added Joaquin Duato as an outside director, effective December 1. Duato is the current CEO of Johnson & Johnson.

PepsiCo reports third-quarter results October 8, ten days out. Wall Street models $2.30 in earnings per share on $25 billion in revenue, per StreetInsider. The last print was mixed. EPS landed at $2.20 against a $2.21 consensus, a penny miss. Still, revenue beat, at $24.18 billion versus $23.97 billion expected. Twenty-four analysts collectively rate the stock a Hold, with an average target of $155.

Two analysts moved on PepsiCo today, a Monday. Steve Powers of Deutsche Bank downgraded the stock from Buy to Hold. He cut his price target from $155 to $138. He cited less certainty in the company’s North American plans. Robert Moskow of TD Cowen kept his Hold rating. He lowered his own target from $145 to $133.

Palo Alto Networks (PANW)

Palo Alto Networks sells cybersecurity software. It spans several product lines. Prisma Access and Strata Cloud Manager handle network security. Prisma AIRS protects AI workloads. Its VM-Series and CN-Series firewalls secure cloud systems. Its Code to Cloud tool covers mixed-cloud setups. The company employs nearly 21,921 people. Its market cap sits near $306.5 billion. It is based in Santa Clara, California, and went public in 2012. Revenue over the past year reached $11.48 billion, a 24.5% increase.

The company rolled out a new service this week that uses Anthropic’s and OpenAI’s models. It helps firms spot security gaps before attackers strike. Earlier this month, Peter Weed of Bernstein downgraded the stock alongside Okta and SentinelOne on AI risk worries. Indeed, other desks say heavier AI security spending helps this whole group.

The company last reported results September 1, beating on both lines. EPS came in at $1.02 against a $0.98 consensus, a four-cent beat. Revenue reached $3.41 billion versus $3.35 billion expected, per StreetInsider. The next print is due November 12. Fifty-five analysts rate the stock a Buy, with an average target of $395.70.

Gray Powell of BTIG maintained his Buy rating on Palo Alto Networks today, a Monday. He raised his price target from $404 to $425.

Powell’s new target against RBC’s Street-high call

Powell’s full 34-stock technology and energy book converts at 73.04%. His average realized upside runs 24.72% inside 206 days. His single best call on Palo Alto Networks came in August. A $380 target was met within a single day for an 11.99% gain. Matthew Hedberg of RBC Capital carries the highest active target on the stock at $475. His price targets have been met 45 of 47 times, a 95.74% rate, over an average 188-day stretch.

Royal Caribbean Group (RCL)

Royal Caribbean operates cruises, founded in 1968. Now it runs the Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Silversea Cruises brands, with 69 ships in the fleet as of the end of 2025. The Miami-based company employs about 108,000 people, with a market cap near $64.9 billion. It pays a $6.00 annual dividend, a 2.47% yield. Revenue over the past year reached $18.68 billion, an 8.7% increase.

Royal Caribbean agreed this week to buy a 50% stake in resort operator Sandals for $3 billion. The deal values Sandals near $6 billion in total. David Katz of Jefferies called the deal a plus for the long run, despite short-term doubts from investors, per TheFly.

Royal Caribbean’s last quarter beat on earnings. EPS came in at $4.21 against a $3.93 consensus, a 28-cent beat. Revenue landed just under the mark, at $4.8 billion versus $4.81 billion expected, per StreetInsider. The next report is due November 3. Twenty-seven analysts rate the stock a Buy, with an average target of $347.60.

Chris Woronka of Deutsche Bank upgraded Royal Caribbean from Hold to Buy today, a Monday. He kept his price target unchanged at $299.

Woronka’s upgrade against Stifel’s Street-high target
