Selected Stock Price Target News — July 30, 2026
Three companies drew fresh analyst attention today. Each had reported second quarter results a day earlier. Carvana ($CVNA) beat on revenue. Its 2026 guidance fell short of Wall Street’s estimate. Shares dropped sharply on the print. Robinhood ($HOOD) beat on both revenue and earnings. A slowdown in crypto trading tempered the market’s reaction anyway. Clean Harbors ($CLH) posted a record quarter and raised its own outlook, which drew higher price targets from two analysts.
Carvana’s Guidance Gap Overshadows A Record Quarter
Carvana operates the largest online used-car marketplace in the United States. It sells vehicles through its website and a network of car vending machines. Second quarter revenue reached $7.376 billion, up 52 percent from a year earlier and a company record. Net income came in at $513 million, while the company sold 197,325 retail units, a 38 percent increase from last year.
Revenue beat Wall Street’s $6.85 billion estimate. The beat came in above 7 percent. Full-year 2026 guidance told a different story. Carvana pointed to adjusted EBITDA of $2.7 billion to $3 billion for the year. That midpoint, $2.85 billion, fell short of the $2.99 billion analysts expected. Shares fell 15.7 percent on the news. Gross profit per unit also slipped, down $412 year over year to $7,014, even as unit sales climbed. Adjusted EBITDA still set a quarterly record despite that per-unit margin pressure. Management called it the company’s tenth straight quarter of leading the industry on both growth and profitability. Despite today’s swings, Carvana shares remain roughly 30 percent below their 2026 high.
Today, two analysts responded. Marvin Fong of BTIG kept his Buy rating. He lowered his price target from $97 to $87. Chris Pierce of Needham reiterated his Buy rating and held his target at $120.
Carvana’s Stock Price Target News This Week
John Babcock of Barclays carries a Buy on Carvana at $94, a call he’s held since November 2025 with a 62.5 percent hit rate. David Lantz of Wells Fargo also holds Buy, at $85, hitting 80 percent of his targets. Brad Erickson of RBC has the best track record of the three, an 85 percent hit rate on his $92 Buy. Even so, all four analysts kept their Buy ratings today. Fong’s new $87 target lands between Lantz’s $85 and Babcock’s $94. Pierce’s unchanged $120 remains the group’s high mark. It stays well above the other three, even after today’s cut from BTIG.
Robinhood Beats On Both Lines, A Crypto Slowdown Tempers The Reaction
Robinhood operates a commission-free trading and investing app. Its customers trade stocks, options, and cryptocurrency through the platform. Second quarter revenue reached $1.31 billion, up from $989 million a year earlier, a beat of roughly 3.5 percent. Adjusted earnings per share still came in at $0.62, more than 40 percent above the $0.44 consensus estimate.
Crypto trading revenue slowed from the prior quarter’s pace, even as options and equities trading both grew. Management struck a cautious tone on the earnings call. Crypto activity cooled industry-wide after a hot start to the year, not just at Robinhood. Robinhood shares have underperformed the broader market in 2026, trading down roughly 18 percent against an 8.5 percent gain for the S&P 500 over the same stretch. Wall Street now expects the company to earn $0.49 per share next quarter. That builds toward $1.95 for the full year, on projected revenue of $5.07 billion. The stock still carries a Zacks Rank of 2, or Buy, meaning it’s expected to outperform the market in the near term.
Today, two analysts responded. John Todaro of Needham kept his Buy rating. He lowered his price target from $123 to $120. Andrew Harte of BTIG reiterated his Buy rating and held his target at $125. Even so, neither analyst downgraded the stock today.
Robinhood’s Stock Price Target News This Week
Gautam Chhugani of Bernstein carries the Street-high on Robinhood at $160, a Buy he’s held since March 2024 with a 55.56 percent hit rate. Michael Cyprys of Morgan Stanley holds a Hold rating at $124. His 81.48 percent hit rate is the best track record among Robinhood’s covering analysts. Even so, both today’s moves stayed on Buy. Todaro’s new $120 target lands just below Cyprys’s $124. Harte’s unchanged $125 sits just above it. Both stay well below Chhugani’s $160 Street-high.
Clean Harbors Posts A Record Quarter, Analysts Raise Targets
Clean Harbors provides environmental and industrial waste management services. It handles hazardous waste disposal, industrial cleaning, and used oil recycling for customers across North America. Second quarter revenue reached $1.74 billion, a company record. Adjusted EBITDA still came in at $409 million, and net income totaled $170.5 million.
Revenue beat the $1.62 billion consensus estimate by 6.79 percent, and EPS beat its $2.74 estimate by 17.52 percent. The Safety-Kleen Sustainability Solutions segment was the standout. Its revenue reached $278.44 million against a $218.34 million estimate, and its adjusted EBITDA more than doubled what analysts had modeled. Management raised its full-year outlook alongside the results, and shares climbed to an all-time high the same day.
Today, two analysts responded. William Grippin of Barclays kept his Equal-Weight rating. He raised his price target from $305 to $325. James Ricchiuti of Needham kept his Buy rating too. He lifted his target further, from $325 to $390. His career hit rate across all coverage sits near 73 percent. Neither analyst downgraded the stock today, either.
Clean Harbors’ Stock Price Target News This Week
Tobey Sommer of Truist carries a Buy on Clean Harbors at $350, a call he’s held since April 2023 with an 85.71 percent hit rate. Devin Dodge of BMO holds Buy too, at $342. His 93.33 percent hit rate is the best track record among Clean Harbors’ covering analysts. Grippin’s $325 lands below both Dodge’s $342 and Sommer’s $350. Ricchiuti’s new $390 is a fresh Street-high, well above the other three. It’s the biggest single move of the day across all three names.
That closes out today’s stock price target news across three of the Street’s most active names. However different the three reactions were, all six analysts stayed on Buy or their prior rating.
