Three software companies reported on Thursday evening, and analyst actions followed before Friday’s open. Twenty-four of them are below. Ten landed on Workday ($WDAY) and ten on Elastic ($ESTC). Autodesk ($ADSK) drew four.

Workday Books $2.65 Billion In Quarterly Revenue And Draws The Only Rating Change Of The Twenty-Four

Workday sells cloud software for human resources and finance teams. Payroll, hiring and expense approvals all run through it. Revenue for the quarter ended 31 July was $2.649 billion. The consensus was $2.63 billion. Non-GAAP earnings also came in above, at $2.75 a share against $2.34 expected.

Scott Berg of Needham kept his Buy and raised his price target from $180 to $230.

Billy Fitzsimmons of Piper Sandler held Neutral and also raised his target, from $145 to $190.

Connor Murphy of Capital One, however, downgraded Workday to Equal-weight from Overweight, at $219.

Clarke Jeffries of Piper Sandler kept Overweight but cut his target, from $369 to $338.
